Born in Seoul, South Korea. Raised in the US with the original dream of building rollercoasters. Somehow found myself etching out a career in advertising.

I've worked at some of the best creative agencies in the country, including Wieden+Kennedy, Google Creative Lab, The Martin Agency, Y&R NY, Sid Lee, Johannes Leonardo, and Leo Burnett. During this portion of my career, I was nominated for Agency Producer of the Year, lived in five different cities, was awarded at AICP, One Show, Clio's, and Emmy's, and was featured in Adweek's AAPI Creative Spotlight.

Founded Hot Lava Agency in LA with three fantastic strategic and creative partners who share a simple philosophy that ideas must flow more freely.

As the MD of Hot Lava, I am responsible for partnering with our CEO to oversee agency growth, operations, and client management, with a bit of production oversight thrown on top for good measure.
